The legacy of immigrants. A good choice for parents to take the kids to visit the Imigrarte exhibition – Art and immigration, a meeting that worked out, which will be inaugurated on the 8th, the Immigrant Memorial. Based on the literary work of the writer Nereide Schilaro Santa Rosa, the show addresses in a didactic way the influence of immigration on the production of modernist painters. Nereide writes books for children, focusing on the work of the great names of Brazilian art, as Alfredo Volpi, Tarsila do Amaral, Cândido Portinari, Guinard and Almeida Jr., among others. The exhibition will bring concurrently enlarged photographic reproductions of the works of artists described above. The kids can also “have fun” participating in the activities that the museum will be developing over the weekend.
