In the period from 18 to 20 this month, the Municipal Library Monteiro Lobato will have a special program to celebrate the “Week Monteiro Lobato”. And the “National Day of Children’s Book – 18/4”. Every day, from 9am to 17pm, Monteiro Lobato’s books will be exposed in the Research Room. On the 18th, at 10 am in the amphitheater Pedro Dias Gonçalves, the writer Nereide Schilaro Santa Rosa will give a talk on “The history of Brazilian art”, free of charge. Nereide is a pedagogue, art educator, and writer of children’s books mainly directed to the most important events of art in Brazil. Her works are published by several publishers; some were awarded by the National Children and Youth Book Foundation, and acquired by the National Textbook Program (PNLD).
